Expert Jaguar maintenance and repair from ASE-certified technicians at ExperTec Automotive Anaheim.

Anaheim Jaguar owners often drive the F-Pace or E-Pace day to day, commuting on the 5, 91 and 57, while an XE or XF handles the trip to work and an I-Pace quietly runs errands near Downtown Anaheim. ExperTec Automotive at 718 W. Lincoln Ave is ready for all of them.
Inland summer heat is the enemy of Jaguar cooling systems. Plastic coolant pipes, thermostat housings and water pumps on the supercharged V6 and V8 are stressed by long idles near the Disneyland Resort and Angel Stadium, and turbocharged Ingenium engines need clean oil and healthy timing chains.
For more than 30 years, our ASE-certified team has given Orange County drivers honest, expert repair. We use dealer-level diagnostics and OEM-quality parts, and every repair is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile nationwide warranty.
Recent Jaguar models use a service interval indicator in the instrument cluster that counts down to the next scheduled service by time and mileage, typically around once a year or every 10,000-16,000 miles, varying by model/engine and region. Earlier models followed a fixed schedule with alternating minor and major services. Jaguar’s schedule also lists time-based items like brake fluid and mileage-based items like spark plugs and coolant, and severe use from short trips, heat or towing calls for more frequent oil service. We follow the schedule for your exact vehicle and reset the indicator.
Upon completion of the standard maintenance tasks we provide an additional 30-point inspection to make sure that all components in your Jaguar are up to date and working well.

At ExperTec Automotive, we’ve been repairing Jaguar vehicles in Orange County for over 30 years. Even well-built Jaguar models develop specific problems as they age, and freeway commutes on the 5, 91 and 57 and inland summer heat add to the wear. Our Anaheim technicians diagnose these issues quickly, follow Jaguar factory repair procedures and use quality parts you can trust.
Modern Jaguars are packed with modules, and a weak 12V battery can cause warning lights, infotainment freezes and no-starts. Some models are also reported to have parasitic draws that drain the battery when parked. We test the battery and charging system, measure current draw and trace any module that will not go to sleep.
The InControl Touch and Touch Pro systems in many Jaguars are reported for freezing, rebooting, losing Bluetooth or a blank screen, often tied to software or a weak battery. We scan modules, check software levels, verify the battery and wiring, and repair or replace the affected unit when updates do not resolve the issue.
XJ models with rear air suspension can develop leaking air springs or a tired compressor, causing a sagging rear and warning messages. Electronic parking brakes on XF and XJ models can also fail to release or apply. We test the air system and parking brake module with dealer-level tools and replace failed components.
Ingenium 2.0L diesel F-Pace, XE and XF models can show warnings for a clogged diesel particulate filter, DEF quality or NOx sensors, particularly with short-trip driving. Unresolved, the car may limit power. We read diesel system data, test sensors and heaters, perform service regenerations when appropriate and correct the underlying cause.
A rattle or knocking noise at idle on the supercharged 3.0L and 5.0L engines often comes from a worn supercharger isolator, also called a coupler, inside the drive snout. It is a widely reported issue on F-Type, F-Pace, XF and XJ models. We confirm the source with careful listening and replace the isolator before it wears further.
Jaguar V6 and V8 engines can develop leaks from valve cover gaskets, timing cover seals and oil coolers, varying by model and mileage. Leaks can drip onto hot exhaust parts and cause a burning smell. We clean and dye-test to find the true source, then replace gaskets and seals with OEM-quality parts.
