Ingenium 2.0L diesel F-Pace, XE and XF models can show warnings for a clogged diesel particulate filter, DEF quality or NOx sensors, particularly with short-trip driving. Unresolved, the car may limit power. We read diesel system data, test sensors and heaters, perform service regenerations when appropriate and correct the underlying cause.
The 2.0L Ingenium four-cylinder in ~2017-2019 F-Pace, XE, XF and E-Pace models is widely reported for timing chain stretch, especially on diesels. Signs include a rattle at startup, timing correlation codes and rough running. We confirm with scan data and inspection, then replace the chain, guides and tensioner as a set and recommend shorter oil intervals.
The supercharged 3.0L V6 and 5.0L V8 are known for leaks from plastic coolant pipes, the thermostat housing and the water pump, especially in hot climates. You may see low coolant warnings, smell coolant or find residue in the engine valley. We pressure-test, replace failed parts with updated components and bleed the system properly.
Modern Jaguars are packed with modules, and a weak 12V battery can cause warning lights, infotainment freezes and no-starts. Some models are also reported to have parasitic draws that drain the battery when parked. We test the battery and charging system, measure current draw and trace any module that will not go to sleep.
The InControl Touch and Touch Pro systems in many Jaguars are reported for freezing, rebooting, losing Bluetooth or a blank screen, often tied to software or a weak battery. We scan modules, check software levels, verify the battery and wiring, and repair or replace the affected unit when updates do not resolve the issue.
