Expert Chrysler maintenance and repair from ASE-certified technicians at ExperTec Automotive Huntington Beach.

A Chrysler 300 cruising PCH at sunset and a Pacifica full of beach gear on the 405 have one thing in common in Huntington Beach: they both take a beating from salt air, sand and traffic. ExperTec Automotive at 7680 Talbert Ave, near Gothard, helps local owners keep them running strong.
Coastal moisture corrodes electrical connectors and brake parts, and sand gets into sliding door tracks and suspension joints. Our ASE-certified technicians check for that wear along with Chrysler’s known trouble spots, from Pentastar oil leaks to Town & Country electrical faults, and explain every recommendation clearly.
With dealer-level scan tools, OEM-quality parts and a 3-year/36,000-mile nationwide warranty, we are the local alternative to the dealership for families near Huntington Central Park and Bella Terra. We have served Orange County for 30+ years and earned OC’s best auto repair title 10 years running.
Most late-model Chrysler vehicles use an oil change indicator that estimates oil life from engine operating conditions and alerts you when service is due, typically up to about 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first, and sooner with heavy use. Chrysler pairs the indicator with a printed maintenance schedule for items like tire rotations, engine and cabin air filters, spark plugs, coolant and transmission service. Severe use, such as towing, extended idling, dusty conditions or many short trips, calls for shorter intervals. We follow the schedule for your exact model and reset the indicator after every service.
Upon completion of the standard maintenance tasks we provide an additional 30-point inspection to make sure that all components in your Chrysler are up to date and working well.

At ExperTec Automotive, we’ve been repairing Chrysler vehicles in Orange County for over 30 years. Even well-built Chrysler models develop specific problems as they age, and PCH beach traffic, 405 commutes and salt air add to the wear. Our Huntington Beach technicians diagnose these issues quickly, follow Chrysler factory repair procedures and use quality parts you can trust.
The Chrysler 300 is known for front-end clunks and wandering steering caused by worn tension strut bushings, ball joints and control arm bushings, particularly on heavier V8 and AWD models. You may also notice uneven tire wear. We inspect every joint and bushing, replace worn parts with OEM-quality components and finish with an alignment.
The 5.7L HEMI V8 found in the 300C is known for lifter roller failure that can damage the camshaft, often called the HEMI tick. Symptoms include a persistent ticking noise and misfire codes. We confirm the affected cylinders with live data and inspection, then replace lifters and the camshaft as needed with OEM-quality parts.
The 3.6L Pentastar V6 in the Pacifica, Town and Country and 300 uses a plastic oil filter housing and cooler assembly in the valley of the engine that is well known for cracking and leaking. Oil may drip down the back of the engine, and some versions can also leak coolant. We confirm the source and replace the housing with an updated design.
Some 3.6L Pentastar V6 engines develop a ticking noise from failed rocker arm roller bearings or lifters, sometimes with misfire codes. Some earlier engines also had a left cylinder head valve seat issue. We listen with diagnostic tools, check misfire data and camshaft condition, then replace rocker arms, lifters or other parts as needed.
The Totally Integrated Power Module in many late 2000s to mid 2010s Town and Country and 300 models is known for causing strange electrical problems, such as a no-start or stalling condition from the fuel pump relay, horns or wipers acting on their own and lights that misbehave. We test circuits and relays to confirm the TIPM before replacing or repairing it.
Power sliding doors on the Pacifica and Town and Country can stop working because of worn cables, failed motors, broken wiring in the door track or misaligned latches. Power liftgates also lose struts and motors with age. We diagnose with dealer-level tools, inspect the mechanism and wiring and repair the specific failed component.
