You don’t have to go back to the dealership to use your extended warranty. Most extended warranties and vehicle service contracts let you choose any licensed repair facility, and ExperTec Automotive works with most of the major warranty companies.
Warranty claims can be confusing, with phone calls, adjusters, inspections and paperwork. Our service advisors work with warranty companies regularly, so we take care of the claim and you only hear from us when there’s news.

From drop-off to pick-up, we handle the warranty company so you don’t have to.
Bring your contract or policy number and the warranty company’s claims phone number. If you can’t find it, we can usually look it up with you.
Our ASE-certified technicians find the cause of the problem and document it with test results and photos, the way warranty companies require before they approve a repair.
We call the warranty company, send the estimate and diagnosis, and work with their adjuster. If they send an inspector, we coordinate the visit.
Once the repair is authorized, we fix it and keep you updated. You pay your contract’s deductible plus anything the warranty doesn’t cover, and we’ll tell you what that is before we start.

Usually your contract’s deductible plus any parts or labor the warranty doesn’t cover. Some contracts don’t cover diagnosis or teardown time, so we’ll explain any costs before we start.
It depends on the warranty company. Some approve repairs by phone the same day, while others send an inspector first, which can add a day or more. We keep things moving and keep you updated.
No. Under federal law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), a manufacturer can’t void your warranty just because maintenance was done at an independent shop. Keep your receipts, and we’ll follow the factory schedule and use parts that meet manufacturer specifications.
