The Honda Motor Company was founded by Soichiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa in Hamamatsu, Japan, in October 1946. The company was incorporated on September 24, 1948 and have been the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and internal combustion engines since 1959.
